GENERAL BOOKING AND CONTRACTING TERMS
1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE ORGANIZER
These General Terms and Conditions govern the contracting of services offered by:

2. PURPOSE
Madrid Horse Tours organizes and markets equestrian experiences, horseback riding routes, multi-day journeys, equestrian tourism activities, associated gastronomic experiences, and complementary services related to equestrian tourism.
Contracting any of the services implies full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.
3. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT METHOD
All bookings must be paid in full for the total amount of the experience at the time of contracting.
A place will only be confirmed once full payment has been received and official confirmation has been sent by Madrid Horse Tours.
Payments may be made by:
• Bank card.
• Bizum (Spanish mobile payment app).
• Bank transfer.
• Other payment methods enabled on the platform.
Madrid Horse Tours reserves the right to reject any booking until payment has been effectively confirmed.
4. CLIENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the advance planning required for horses, guides, accommodations, catering, and logistics, cancellations will be subject to the following conditions:
Cancellations made more than 30 calendar days in advance
Refund of 90% of the amount paid.
Madrid Horse Tours will retain 10% for administrative and management costs.
Cancellations made between 30 and 15 calendar days before departure
Refund of 50% of the amount paid.
Cancellations made less than 15 calendar days before departure
No refund will be issued.
No-shows
Failure of the participant to appear at the established meeting point and time will result in the loss of 100% of the amount paid.
5. TRANSFER OF BOOKING
If a participant is unable to attend, they may request to be substituted by another person up to 7 days before the start of the experience.
The new participant must meet the same physical, technical, and administrative requirements required for the activity.
Madrid Horse Tours must expressly approve such substitution.
6. WEATHER CONDITIONS
Equestrian activities take place in natural environments and are subject to changing weather conditions.
Madrid Horse Tours may:
• Modify itineraries.
• Alter schedules.
• Delay departures.
• Suspend activities.
• Change routes.
when there are justified reasons related to:
• Participant safety.
• Animal welfare.
• Forest fires.
• Adverse weather phenomena.
• Administrative restrictions.
• The condition of paths or terrain.
The assessment of such circumstances shall be the exclusive responsibility of Madrid Horse Tours and its technical staff.
7. CANCELLATION BY MADRID HORSE TOURS
If Madrid Horse Tours cancels an activity before it begins for organizational, safety, or force majeure reasons, the client may choose between:
• A change of date.
• A voucher for the amount paid.
• A full refund.
No additional compensation will be payable for the participant’s indirect expenses.
8. EQUESTRIAN LEVEL AND ADMISSION
The experiences offered by Madrid Horse Tours require prior horseback riding experience.
All routes currently offered are at the following level:
ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE
The participant declares that the information provided regarding their equestrian experience is truthful.
Madrid Horse Tours may deny participation to, or suspend the activity of, any person whose actual skill level is insufficient to guarantee their own safety, that of the group, or that of the horses.
In such cases, no refund will be issued.
9. PHYSICAL CONDITION AND PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
The participant declares that they are in adequate physical and psychological condition to engage in equestrian activities.
The participant also declares that they do not suffer from any illness, injury, or limitation that could compromise their own safety or that of third parties during the activity.
The participant agrees to inform the organization in advance of any relevant medical condition.
10. MANDATORY USE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Participants must follow the guides’ instructions at all times and use the safety equipment required by the organization.
Madrid Horse Tours may prevent the participation of any person who fails to comply with the established safety rules.
11. GUIDE’S AUTHORITY
During the activity, participants must at all times follow the instructions of the guides, route leaders, and authorized staff.
Guides shall have the authority to:
• Modify the pace of the ride.
• Alter the route.
• Suspend a client’s participation.
• End a participant’s involvement in the activity.
when there are safety concerns or inappropriate behavior.
12. ANIMAL WELFARE
Madrid Horse Tours carries out its activities under animal welfare standards.
The following is strictly prohibited:
• Mistreating or punishing the horses.
• Ignoring handling instructions.
• Engaging in behavior that could endanger the animals.
The organization may immediately terminate the participation of any person who violates these rules.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Participation in equestrian activities involves risks inherent to an activity carried out in a natural environment.
The participant expressly acknowledges these risks and agrees to take part at their own responsibility, without prejudice to the insurance coverage legally required.
Madrid Horse Tours holds Civil Liability insurance and other coverage required by applicable regulations.
14. IMAGE RIGHTS
Photographs and videos may be taken during the activities for promotional purposes.
The participant may expressly authorize or decline such use during the booking process.
15. DATA PROTECTION
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website.
16. COMPLAINTS
Madrid Horse Tours has official complaint forms available to users.

17. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Spanish law.
Any dispute arising from the contracting of services shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, unless mandatory legal provisions state otherwise.
